Many families came to see the solar eclipse at Smithridge STEM Academy ... the clouds didn't cooperate during the "ring of fire", however, it was a fabulous event!

Come to Smithridge Playground for a viewing of the Solar Eclipse!
May 20, 2012 from 6:00-7:00PM

Warning! Never look directly at the sun!

"Reno is one of the only cities in the United States that will be very near the central path of this annular eclipse, which will be visible in North America only across parts of the southwestern United States. The period of maximum eclipse as viewed from Reno will be from 6:28-6:33 p.m. on May 20.
The next annular eclipse viewable from North America will not appear for another 20 years, and the next total eclipse viewable from across Northern Nevada won’t occur until 2045!"

Registration 2012-2013 School Year

Smithridge registration is available school days from 8AM-9AM and 3PM-4PM in the Computer Lab.

Kindergarten registration @ Smithridge May 7, 2012 - May 11, 2012 from 8:30AM - 3:30PM in the office.
Please bring birth certificate, shot records, and proof of residence.
